Leigh Art Trail is Only 3 Weeks Away!

Leigh Art Trail - 16th-23rd June 2012

The eight-day annual event is now celebrating its 15th anniversary! Helle Johansen-Baker will be exhibiting her amazing, abstract photographic prints at Carmen Woods Handbag Boutique in Broadway West, Leigh on Sea. She will also showcase some new and exciting accessories created in collaboration with handbag designer Carmen Woods. The Leigh Art Trail is a showcase for work produced by local artists and craftspeople and includes a variety of art forms and events. Innovatively mixing artists’ studios and homes with local shops and bars as venues, visitors are offered the chance to devise their own cultural, shopping and sightseeing activities. The event is FREE to visit and it provides art lovers an opportunity to buy original artwork at affordable prices and also to meet the artists themselves. This year’s event will be as fresh as ever. Work by 16 new artists will be on show with activities including live performances, film screenings, family activities and school exhibitions, making it a major community gathering.
